Oile CBD – Why It’s Becoming Popular
CBD (cannabidiol) oil is a low-tetrahydrocannabinol product that’s become popular for treating pain and other symptoms, without the mind-altering effects of marijuana. A prescription drug called Epidiolex has been approved by the FDA to treat two rare forms of epilepsy, and CBD is also available as a dietary supplement in some states. Some studies suggest it may help with anxiety, a painful muscle disorder called dystonia, and other conditions, but more research is needed.
CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid system, a large messaging network in your brain that controls many of your body’s functions, including sleep, appetite, and pain. The oil contains a variety of natural chemical compounds called cannabinoids, which are similar to the endocannabinoids your body produces. CBD has been shown to have anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving and anti-seizure properties. It has also been shown to boost your mood and relieve depression, but it’s not an antidepressant.
In addition, CBD can increase the levels of certain medicines in your bloodstream by competing with the liver enzymes that break them down. This can happen when you take high doses of CBD or with certain medicines, such as a blood thinner or the antibiotic doxycycline. If you are taking these medications, it’s a good idea to talk with your doctor before using CBD.
One of the main reasons for the popularity of huile cbd is its ability to reduce anxiety. A study published in the Brazilian Journal of Psychiatry in 2017 showed that people who took 150 milligrams, 300 milligrams or 600 milligrams of CBD before a public speaking test experienced less anxiety than those who took a placebo. Another human trial found that CBD reduced PTSD symptoms in veterans.
It’s also been used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, a painful condition that causes the joints to swell and stiffen. A study in 58 patients with rheumatoid arthritis who took a CBD oil product called Sativex saw statistically significant improvements in their quality of life and the WOMAC (Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Arthritis Index) score for physical function, when compared to a placebo.
CBD has also been reported to improve the symptoms of fibromyalgia, a chronic pain syndrome that affects the whole body and can cause fatigue and insomnia. A small study in fibromyalgia patients who had not responded to other treatments showed that CBD decreased their pain levels and improved their overall health status, but more research is needed.
Some preclinical and clinical evidence suggests that CBD might be useful in helping with substance misuse disorders, such as addiction to opioids; it can decrease cravings and decrease withdrawal symptoms. It’s also been shown to have neuroprotective properties, which means it protects your brain cells from damage.
