In Switzerland, CBD products are not subject to tobacco tax. Instead, they are assessed on the basis of their characteristics. This makes it difficult to obtain correct information about the content of these products.
This double-blind, placebo-controlled trial evaluated the efficacy of CBD in the treatment of severe Tourette syndrome. Participants were randomized to a 6-week course of CBD or placebo, followed by a 4-week washout period.
1. Legality
Switzerland is famous for a lot of things: pristine nature, efficiency, punctuality, chocolate and cheese. What many people do not know is that it’s also a quiet champion in CBD and cannabis regulation.
Products containing cannabidiol, which is derived from the hemp plant, are legal in Switzerland as long as their THC content is below 1%. This is because the product is not considered a narcotic and does not produce a psychoactive effect.
However, this does not mean that suppliers can arbitrarily add CBD to any preparation they like. CBD is classified as a Novel Food and suppliers must comply with the applicable legislation to ensure consumer safety. If the product does not comply with regulations, it may be subject to a recall or even be banned from the market. Swiss consumers have several options, though: homegrown CBD brands and a large number of reputable overseas brands that ship to the Alpine country. The most popular CBD products in Switzerland include oils, tinctures, capsules and topical creams.
2. Safety
CBD, a cannabinoid from the cannabis sativa plant, has become popular as an aid to relaxation and stress reduction. In this context, a number of consumers report side effects such as dizziness and fatigue. It is therefore important to know whether these symptoms can be attributed to the direct pharmacological effect of CBD or its degradation into THC due to acidic hydrolysis in the stomach following oral consumption.
The authors of this article investigated this question by testing several differently concentrated CBD solutions in methanolic solution, which corresponds to the usual concentration of CBD in these products. These solutions were exposed to an artificial gastric juice in a simulated gastrointestinal tract and analysed for the presence of THC, CBD, and its degradative product 9-THC.
The results showed that 85 out of 100 analyzed CBD products did not fully comply with the European THC limit for foods, and 73 of them were banned from sale. Consumers who consume CBD are more likely to be younger, have a history of tobacco or cannabis use, and to earn less money than the average Swiss citizen. Cluster analysis revealed four different user profiles based on socio-demographic and behavioral characteristics.
3. Reputation
The reputation of a company is important when purchasing CBD products. It affects the quality of its products and its customer service. A reputable company will have transparent policies and will answer any questions you might have about their product. They will also have a user-friendly website where you can learn more about the product.
In recent years, there has been a boom in the production of CBD oil in Switzerland. Many companies have taken advantage of this opportunity to create a wide variety of CBD products. Some of these products include capsules, oils, and tinctures. Other products include foods, drinks, and topicals.
These new products can be very beneficial for consumers. However, it is important to be aware of the risks involved in using CBD products. This is especially true for those who are new to the world of CBD. It is a good idea to purchase your CBD products from a reputable online store that has a high reputation.
4. Price
Regardless of whether they’re new to CBD or looking to expand their horizons, consumers can benefit from the wealth of information available online. Search engines, personal networks, CBD brand sites and specialist blogs are all popular sources of information.
The popularity of CBD oil has contributed to its dominance of the market, but the introduction of other product types has created opportunities for manufacturers to grow their businesses. CBD flowers and capsules are particularly attractive to new customers, since they offer a convenient alternative to oils.
Despite the fact that these products aren’t as potent as CBD oils, they still have significant health benefits. They also have a lower price per mg of CBD, making them an economical choice for those who don’t want to buy the strongest product available. Moreover, they’re convenient for users who don’t want to carry the entire bottle with them on their travels. Consequently, they’re ideal for beginners. Moreover, most reputable brands have their oils lab-tested for quality and potency.cbd suisse
