Stag Party Budapest – Get Your Adrenaline Pumping

0

The stag party Budapest is a wild city where traditional culture blends with an energetic social scene. Get your adrenaline pumping with extreme sports like paintball or target shooting, or soak in Hungary’s iconic thermal spas.

Or, skip the nightclub queues and party like a VIP at Otkert, Instant, or Akvarium Klub. And don’t miss the chance to try a naughty maid prank on the buck.

1. Hostels

If you want to keep your stag do budget as low as possible then a hostel is a good option. Budapest is full of great party hostels and has a lot to offer stag parties. The city’s famous microbreweries, ruin bars, and bath parties will have you and your mates raving. And if you’re a wine lover you’ll love the delectable Tokaji Aszu and Bull’s Blood wines.

One of our favourite hostels in the city is Carpe Noctem Original which hosts a nightly party with all guests encouraged to join in. It’s a lively hostel with a crazy fun team that runs events like pub crawls, drinking games and more. Plus it has orthopedic mattresses which means you’ll have a good night’s sleep.

There’s also Big Fish, a cosy and intimate hostel that’s incredibly friendly. It’s a great choice for first-time hostelers and there’s a ton of hostel activities on offer; everything from movie nights to game shows. Plus it’s super close to the main sights like the House of Terror, Oktogon and Szechenyi thermal baths.

2. Bar Crawls

Hungary’s capital is a hotspot for stag nights thanks to low cost booze, accessibility from the UK and a fairly tolerant attitude towards large groups of inebriated men. There are a huge variety of bars and pubs to suit all tastes from the elegant up-market establishments through to rough and ready ruin bars.

You can join a pub crawl that also includes drinking games, an introduction to Hungarian drinking games and skip the line entry to one of Budapest’s coolest clubs or you could opt for a 3 hour ruin bar crawl visiting 4 of the most popular venues with drinks included. During the crawl you’ll be shown lesser known and more eclectic places in the city.

If your stag likes beer you could add an optional brewery tour where he’ll get the chance to sample some of the finest beers in the country such as Tokaji Aszu or Bull’s Blood. If your stag is in good spirits he can also try a wrestling match against two of the city’s sexiest babes covered head to toe in oil.

3. Nightclubs

Budapest nightlife is a bit of an eclectic affair. It’s a mix of bohemian ‘ruin’ pubs, clubbing hotspots and low-key wine bars with incredible views over the city skyline. It’s got something for everyone, and you can dance until dawn here.

The main party district in Budapest is located around Kiraly Street, with dozens of cafes, bars and clubs. Here you’ll find a variety of music styles, including the latest R&B and hip-hop. There’s also plenty of themed parties here.

If you’re looking for a more high-end experience, head to the 7th district. This is where Szimpla Kert is located, one of the famous ruin pubs in Budapest. The venue attracts tourists and backpackers, so it’s not a typical local nightclub.

Another option is Badhanna, a gorgeous 19th century building that brings the party to life with two club rooms and sets from top DJs. The venue changes its theme every week, so you can expect a different atmosphere each time. Check out their website to see which theme is on offer during your visit.

4. Air Balloon Rides

A city that divides itself into two halves, Budapest is a beautiful place full of castles and thermal baths. It also has an amazing nightlife and lots of things to do.

Budapest is a big stag party destination and there are plenty of rip-roaring activities to get your adrenaline pumping. You could make the most of Hungary’s lax gun laws and sign up for AK-47 shooting, or get your pulses racing with a day of tobogganing down a snowy track.

If you’re looking for something a little different, why not head to the 7th District and check out the famous ruin bars, live music and eclectic crowds? You can even try some of the city’s street food. Fuego, for example, serves spiced chicken rotisseries that are a real treat.

Budapest is also renowned for its wines. You can sample some of the finest Hungarian vintages, such as Tokaji Aszu and Bull’s Blood. They both come from noble rot grapes, which have been enjoyed by some of Hungary’s most celebrated writers and composers. They’re also a fantastic drink to wash down some tasty food.

5. Beer Bike

Pedal yourself to a brilliant new level of stag do happiness on this awesome beer-fuelled Budapest activity. Enjoy some of Hungary’s best beers, including the sweet wine Tokaji Aszu and the delectable Bull’s Blood (don’t let the name put you off!) whilst taking in some of the city’s most famous landmarks.

This awesome party bike is the newest and coolest way to experience Budapest, perfect for stag parties, group outings and corporate team building activities. A sober driver steers you along the route, while you pedal your own private bar on wheels and slurp up unlimited beer from the taps.

This is a great sightseeing tour that also gives you the chance to bond with your mates, and you can even add extra activity packages like extreme Target Shooting at additional cost. The minimum group size for Beer Bike is 4 people, and you can book up to 30 beer bikes at the same time (depending on availability). Enjoy the ride, drink some beer and take in all that Budapest has to offer! See you soon!
